It’s inevitable nap time car rides happen. All of our kids have fallen asleep while we have been driving around at some point after all who can avoid the soothing rhythmic movement of a moving car and the warmth of the sun on a tiring day? But did you know that sleeping slouched in a car increases your child’s neck injury in an accident?

Virtual crash testing, conducted in the Netherlands, found that children sleeping slanted (in a slouched position) had increased injury, with higher neck loads during an accident, than those who were sitting upright in the control/base tests.
This is a concern for us as parents and while we can do anything about our children falling asleep in their car seats, we can make a few adjustments to ensure their safety.
The Nap Strap™ helps correct your child’s posture when they’re asleep in their car seat, preventing them from slouching forward. This not only improves their risk of neck injury in an accident but also helps relived possible neck strain and allows for a more comfortable sleep too.
It’s a simple easy to use product that can assist in avoiding an unfortunate situation.
